Joshua (Mental Wellness Clinician – OAT)

⬅ Back to Service Providers
Tansi, my name is Joshua (Josh) and I am a Community Mental Health Clinician with Quest Health. I’m primarily based out of God’s River assisting with the Mental Wellness Program, but I also get the pleasure to work with folks in God’s River and Oxford House supporting the OAT Program (Opioid Agnostic Treatment) as a Social Worker.
My passion is for advocacy and cultural preservation, and reclamation of individual and community identity. This passion led me to obtain my Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Manitoba.  I’ve worked in many different sectors of the social services system over the last 20 years including child welfare, investigative services, mental health services, and development of mentorship and support programs for youth and adults.
My belief is that healing begins with connection– to the self, to culture, and to community– and I am honoured to be a part of that journey with the people and communities I serve. I look forward to working with everyone in Manto Sipi!
Thank you.
