Dr. Sean McPhee (Addictions Physician)
Hi, I’m Dr. Sean McPhee! I’ve been a physician here at Quest Health since July 2023. I run the OAT (Opioid Agonist Therapy) Program in Oxford House as well as God’s River. I also am at the Winnipeg Quest Health Clinic when I am not in the community.
To tell you a little bit about myself, my mom’s side of the family is from Saugeen First Nation and my dad’s side is from Cape Breaton Island, but I’ve lived in Winnipeg for all my life. I studied my undergraduate degree at the University of Winnipeg, graduating with a Bachelor in Neurosciences and Biopsychology. Afterwards, I completed my medical degree at the University of Manitoba followed up with 2 years of psychiatry. I decided I wanted to pursue Family Medicine, and after completing that training in 2022 and I did an extra year of training in Addictions Medicine in 2023.
I come to Oxford House every 4 to 6 weeks to assist in harm reduction from oxy medications. If you’d like, watch my video below to learn more about that process.
I hope to see those in the community who are seeking assistance with percosets (oxycodone) addiction, I’m always here to help!
Thank you.
